Steven was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan. He graduated from Lansing Catholic Central High School in 1990 and then joined the United States Navy. He deferred his college years to a later date.

Steven has always been dedicated to giving back to the communities in which he works. He actively supports charities such as Child and Family Charities, The F4 Foundation, CMIA, The VFW National Home for Children, and Toys for Tots. Additionally, he travels to Kenya to meet the needs of some very deserving children. Steven is committed to making YHSE a philanthropic company.

When not working or with his family, Steven can be found honing his golf game or cheering on his MSU Spartans.

Mike is a Certified Inspector, Building Science and Healthy Home Professional, and Client Advocate, committed to enhancing the health, safety, energy efficiency, and comfort of families throughout Michigan. With over 7 years of experience helping families improve energy efficiency, Mike is passionate about making homes safer and more sustainable. A proud Mid-Michigan native, he is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Michigan. He’s also a devoted dog lover who enjoys spending time with his furry companion.

Rick Royston, our Lead Installation Technician from Lansing, MI, brings precision and expertise to every project. Off the clock, Rick loves spending quality time with his family, and you’ll often find him competing in paintball tournaments or enjoying the great outdoors through hunting and fishing. His blend of technical skill and adventurous spirit makes Rick a standout member of our team.

Kevin Barcume, an Installation Technician based in Lansing, MI, brings precision and innovation to every project. At home, he shares his space with his beloved dog, Solstice. In his free time, Kevin indulges in 3D printing, creating intricate designs, and exploring new destinations through travel. His technical prowess and sense of adventure make him a vital part of our team.

When she’s not leading the charge at YHSE, Jessie dives into the colorful world of comics, a good book or, ideally, lounging by the pool soaking up the sun. Her vibrant personality and commitment to exceptional service make her an invaluable part of our team and a true champion of client satisfaction!

Jessica resides in Lansing with her husband and two sons. When she’s not outdoors enjoying camping trips, she can often be found cheering on her sons’ robotics team and band performances. A passionate reader, she loves diving into a good book whenever she gets the chance.

With a busy schedule balancing multiple part-time jobs, Malena is always on the go, but she never lets that stop her from providing excellent service with kindness and a smile. An avid animal lover, she brings warmth and enthusiasm to everything she does!
