A passionate advocate for strengthening communities, Steven has built his company around the belief that safe, healthy, and efficient homes change lives. Through partnerships with local utilities and nonprofit organizations, he has helped deliver energy-efficiency improvements to thousands of families across Michigan, including many limited-income households , reducing energy burdens while improving comfort, health, and safety.

Steven’s commitment to philanthropy is central to his leadership. He is an active supporter and partner of Child & Family Charities, contributing time, resources, and advocacy to programs that empower vulnerable children and families. He recently began partnering with Habitat for Humanity Capital Region, helping build and improve homes for families pursuing stability through homeownership. Steven also proudly supports the VFW National Home for Children, assisting military and veteran families by helping ensure their homes are safe, efficient, and sustainable for future generations.

Known for his collaborative leadership style and dedication to mentorship, Steven invests heavily in workforce development, community partnerships, and youth opportunities. His work demonstrates how business leadership, service, and community engagement can come together to create lasting impact.

Steven lives and works in Mid-Michigan, where he continues to champion initiatives that improve quality of life, strengthen neighborhoods, and inspire the next generation of leaders.

A Lansing native, Jessie Chapman serves as Chief Operating Officer at Your Home Solution Experts, where she keeps the people, projects, and day-to-day operations moving in the right direction. With a knack for turning big ideas into actual plans (and keeping a lot of moving pieces from colliding), Jessie helps bridge the gap between company goals and the people who make them happen.

As a mom of five, multitasking isn’t exactly a skill Jessie learned at work, it came with the territory. She brings that same mix of adaptability, humor, and problem-solving to YHSE, with a strong focus on building better processes, supporting the team, and making sure customers have an experience they feel good about.

When she’s not keeping things moving at YHSE, Jessie is probably reading a good book or taking any opportunity she can get to be somewhere warm and preferably next to a pool.

Jessie believes that a successful company is built around people, its customers, its employees, and the community it serves. She brings that philosophy to her role every day, along with plenty of personality and the firm belief that there’s almost always a way to make something work better.

Today, Sarah continues her passion for athletics by coaching Bath High School’s varsity girls’ soccer team and working with local club soccer programs. Her leadership on and off the field reflects her commitment to mentorship, teamwork, and helping others reach their full potential.
At YHSE, Sarah has been instrumental in aligning the company’s financial goals with measurable growth and real outcomes, helping ensure the organization remains strong, strategic, and well-positioned for the future.

Outside the office, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family up north on the lake. Known for her positive attitude and ever-evolving collection of fresh tattoos, she brings energy, authenticity, and a grounded perspective to both her professional and personal life.

With over 25 years of customer service experience, Jessica Yinger brings a wealth of knowledge and
dedication to our team. A proud graduate of Central Michigan University, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2001.

Jessica resides in Lansing with her husband and two sons. When she’s not outdoors enjoying camping trips, she can often be found cheering on her sons’ robotics team and band performances. A passionate reader, she loves diving into a good book whenever she gets the chance.

Her commitment to excellence and her enthusiasm for helping others make her a valued member of our team!

Kay Glidden brings warmth, organization, and a customer-first mindset to her role as Appointment Coordinator at Your Home Solution Experts. Originally from Texas, she recently made Michigan her home alongside her husband and has quickly embraced life in the Great Lakes State.

A 2014 graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, Kay spent several years working as a pastry chef before transitioning into administrative and customer service roles. While she no longer works professionally in the culinary field, she still enjoys baking in her free time and sharing her creations with family and friends.

A proud dog mom and lifelong animal lover, Kay enjoys spending her downtime immersed in creative hobbies. Whether she’s reading and writing, playing video games, watching movies, or tackling a new arts and crafts project, she is always exploring new ways to express her creativity.

She is also a self-proclaimed fantasy enthusiast who loves going all out for Halloween and creating elaborate costumes for Renaissance Festivals. Her attention to detail, enthusiasm, and positive attitude help ensure every customer interaction is a welcoming and enjoyable experience.

As the first friendly voice many customers hear when contacting YHSE, Kay is dedicated to making the scheduling process seamless while helping homeowners feel informed and comfortable every step of the way.

Mike is a Certified Inspector, Building Science and Healthy Home Professional, and Client Advocate, committed to enhancing the health, safety, energy efficiency, and comfort of families throughout Michigan. With over 7 years of experience helping families improve energy efficiency, Mike is passionate about making homes safer and more sustainable. A proud Mid-Michigan native, he is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Michigan. He’s also a devoted dog lover who enjoys spending time with his furry companion.

Meet Michael Castillo, one of our Team Leads at Your Home Solution Experts. Since joining the YHSE team, Michael’s strong work ethic, motivation, and commitment to doing quality work have helped him grow into a leadership role, where he now helps guide his crew and keep projects running smoothly in the field.

A Lansing transplant, Michael enjoys spending his free time gaming, hunting for great finds as an avid thrifter, and spending time traveling or outdoors camping with his partner, family and friends. He’s also taken an interest in learning to play guitar, adding a new challenge to his list of hobbies.

Whether he’s leading a crew, tackling a project, searching for the perfect thrift-store find, or leveling up in a game, Michael brings focus, personality, and a willingness to keep learning. His growth within YHSE and dedication to his team make him a valued part of our company.

Known for being outgoing, hardworking, and a bit of a risk-taker in the best way, J is a true do-er who believes in getting the job done right, quickly, and efficiently. He takes pride in his work and enjoys tackling challenges head-on.

J is a dedicated dog lover and proud owner of a one-year-old Belgian Malinois. Family is incredibly important to him, especially his role as a devoted uncle, and he’s always willing to help friends and teammates however he can. His reliability, drive, and positive attitude make him a valued part of the team.

Kylee Wright brings enthusiasm, dedication, and a strong work ethic to the Your Home Solution Experts installation team. Coming from a large family, she understands the value of teamwork, communication, and always being willing to lend a helping hand.

An animal lover through and through, Kylee has a special place in her heart for both cats and dogs. When she’s not on the job, she enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and finding ways to stay involved in her community.

Kylee is passionate about everything she does and takes pride in giving her best effort, whether she’s helping homeowners improve the comfort and efficiency of their homes or supporting those around her. Her positive attitude, commitment to quality work, and genuine care for people make her a valued member of the YHSE team.

Hardworking is an understatement for Oliver, he clocks out at YHSE and then right back in as an LCC student every day. His work ethic and drive make him a team favorite, but it’s his kindness and attention to detail that makes our customers rave about him!

Oliver is both our youngest team member and the youngest of four. He was born and raised in Eaton Rapids, where he continues his newest adventure: adulthood! Don’t let his small-town origins fool you, his expertise is global scale.

Corey Hanlin is a Team Lead at Your Home Solution Experts, bringing a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a dependable approach to every project. Since joining YHSE, Corey has been a seamless addition to the team, quickly earning the trust of his coworkers through his dedication, thoroughness, and willingness to get the job done right.

Corey spent most of his life in Florida before making Michigan home. He married his high school sweetheart, and family remains an important part of his life.

Outside of work, Corey enjoys playing bass and spending time in the kitchen. He loves cooking just about anything, but smoked BBQ is his specialty and favorite. Whether he’s perfecting something on the smoker or leading a crew in the field, Corey brings patience, pride, and commitment to what he does.

His hardworking nature, consistency, and focus on quality make Corey a great fit for the YHSE team and an important part of delivering the level of service our customers expect.
